The systems of perspective have been used for centuries by artists to show a sense of ‘reality’ in their pictures, to give an illusion of distance and depth to their work. The above photograph gives a good example of what I mean, with the further away buildings and people appearing smaller.
When one approaches the ‘spiritual’ aspect to life, one needs to take heed of different viewpoints, to consider the relationship of things to each other. Very often this requires and encourages a change in our thinking and the way we see the world, making us take a step back in order to get the broader perspective to what is now and what will be, both to the material and the spiritual.
